Well, as a huge Beyonce fan, finding out the news of her pregnancy of course had me excited but I was even more surprised by how she did it.
Just as this article states, the fact that Beyonce is always able to keep her private life actually private is a big deal. Society today is obsessed with celebrities and everything that they do from going for a run outside to where they are eating dinner, but Beyonce (and her PR team) know how to keep things under wraps.
I believe that Beyonce's big announcement is a perfect example of how to keep things newsworthy. If there is something really exciting and special, one should not exploit it to the media until it has gained some momentum. If she would have been hinting for the past that she wanted to have a baby, the reveal would have not been such a big ordeal.

I heard on the radio that during the VMA's Beyonce (who was 2 months pregnant at the time) wore a fake baby bump. It's kind of a clever trick to hype up the message but a little deceitful!
